There's been an 0.3.8 file on http://www.ivtv.tv/releases/ivtv-0.3/ for quite a while now; is that the same version or an earlier version? A lot of people will probably continue to use the http://www.ivtv.tv/releases/ URL to get the driver.

I've released 0.3.8. It can be downloaded from http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv, or you can get it from svn:

svn co http://ivtvdriver.org/svn/ivtv/tags/0.3.8 ivtv

Everyone who has sound problems must upgrade to this version. This will allow me to compare configurations without having to take different driver versions into account.

More instructions will follow. I'd appreciate if people who used to have sound problems but fixed them with a workaround will also read those instructions I'll post later tonight and help with testing. It's the one major bug still remaining and I'd be very happy when we finally can squash it.
