I was puzzled by this sound patch, probably because I don't understand the wiring sequence across the range of cards. Is the wm8775 used for more than the svideo/aux input? I had assumed that (for my PVR-150, say,) RF input touched in turn an FQ1216ME MK3 tuner (with embedded TDA9887), then CX25842 MPEG encoder. The wm8775 is a "plain" ADC, with no mention of TV standards in the datasheet. Perhaps this is a separate issue to PVR150/500 sound?
