Hi,
I have two PVR-150MCE cards, and I had sound problems too with previous versions of the drivers. With svn revision 2969 it seems to work fine. I didn't have much time for testing, but I watched tv (with mplayer /dev/video0) for half an hour without any problems. Great work!

I have a question regarding the tuner and tveeprom modules though.

When I installed the drivers my tuner wouldn't work and I got this message (in dmesg):

tuner 1-0061: tuner type not set

although the tuner was recognized by tveeprom.

I discovered it was because the kernel (2.6.11-1.1369_FC4) was loading the bultin tuner module instead of the ivtv one. I solved the problem by renaming the builtin tveeprom and tuner modules which forced the kernel to load the ivtv ones.

My questions are:

Is this the right thing to do? Is there a way to force the kernel to load the ivtv modules without removing the original ones? And in general, how does one determine which module has been loaded if there are different modules with the same name?
