I am installing mythtv with an invidia card and am using the DVI port straight to my television. I’ve been using the Wilson.net how to and he indicates directions for HDTV, should I do the same even though I don’t have HDTV (I have just analog cable), or can I just configure the 16:9 ratio from the mythtvsetup? In other words do I need to edit xorg.config to get the 16:9 aspect ratio, set the refresh rate, etc ,etc to get the right output from the video card?
