Rex,

 

All I did to get it working was to install the latest ivtv driver.  Once you do that check for the presence of /dev/video0. If you have that it installed correctly and then try and capture the video with

 

cp /dev/video0 whatever.mpg

 

You can try playing it in mplayer to see if it captured correctly.

Ok I’m stuck; also I’m new to linux,

I have tried to install as per http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php & as per http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Howto:Fedora

With no luck.

Here is what i am running

 

# alias tveeprom tvprom-ivtv

 

And this is the answer…lol

 

Bash: alias: tveeprom: not found

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.
