The drivers in the mandriva kernel is *very* old. I've packages up a dkms rpm package with more recent ivtv drivers (that work on my pvr-500). You're better off using those, just look in a Mandriva contrib repository somewhere on a mirror.

- doesn't want to remove the driver from the Mandriva kernel package; - doesn't update the driver in the Mandriva kernel package;- doesn't keep the driver in sync with the userland tools (they are seperate packages).
