I don't see why you would have a problem, if the card works with your regular antenna, it should work with a coax from your VCR. So, you know the channel you tune your tv to for the vcr and you set that in ptune and you see nothing? Is the VCR the same format as your normal antenna (NTSC, PAL, etc)? Does your VCR require you to hit a VCR/TV button on it before it outputs over coax? The only possible problem I see is that the output from the VCR is so amazingly poor that the PVR doesn't lock onto it. I find this hard to believe would happen.
