I am experiencing this after swapping hardware and upgrading from FC3 to FC4. Massive changes, yes. I've detailed my situation at: http://ivtvdriver.org/trac/ticket/48 Can you find a different log message that correlates to the actual time that the error occurred? In my case, I got the above "Pending while stopping capture" when the recording was commanded to be stopped, not when it actually stopped. To check, look at the time of when your recording started, check the length of your actual recording (easiest way is to play it back, press 'E' to edit, then Page-Down to the end and note the time), add the two and check your logs. In my case, the actual error logged at the time the recording stopped was "ivtv0 warning: ENC: REG_DMAXFER 2 wait failed". To me this is suggesting a DMA (hardware) failure, as in BIOS or chipset. The card was reliable in the old box, the new box was reliable in a different role. Currently looking into BIOS updates and latest FC4 kernel (kernel-2.6.14-1.1637_FC4). _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users
