Hi Hans,

Yes this does appear to fix the issue distortion issue  The ghost image I saw 
under the previous test at 0.4.1 appears to be gone.  I tested with mplayer.

Another mythtv-user complained about similar issue under 0.5.1 and pvr-500 and 
it looks like 0.5.1 has the same code commented out

However I ran into a new mythtv issue.  Mythtv hangs after a second while 
watching live tv with the 0.4.1 driver.   It eventually complains about the 
video and allows you to exit.  This is not a ivtv issue  so I'll report it to 
the mythtv-users list.   This is different from the latest firmware timeout 
where the capture card is never opened.  I am not running the svn release of 
mythtv so it may be fixed already.
