I found that apparently I hadn't really installed anything as yum didn't 
like the gpg signature.  I have re-installed and now rpm reports that 
ivtv is installed. Just tonight I got the card recognized and listened 
to radio.  Next step is to try to view tv.   My guess is that I need 
another app to actually get video.
