I have a PVR 150 and I am running Fedora Core 4 with all of the latest updates. After I install ivtv, the /dev/video* devices are being created when I load the ivtv module. However, I am seeing these errors from dmesg when the ivtv module is loaded:
ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0x00 not found for command 0x40045403! ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0x00 not found for command 0x40085618! ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0x00 not found for command 0x402c5639! There are always three errors like this at the very end before "END INIT IVTV", but the command hex values vary. If I try to use the card by, say, watching TV in Myth, one or more of these lines will pop up at the end of dmesg, after the "END INIT IVTV". When I do attempt to watch TV in Myth, my screen goes black for a few seconds, then I get thrown back to the main menu...or, occasionally, I will suddenly see red horizontal lines going across the screen. I first tried ivtv-0.4.1 and ivtv-0.4.0 RPMs from ATrpms, then when those didn't work, I tried to compile ivtv-0.4.1 from source, only to keep running into this very same error. I have tried multiple versions of firmware, both for the video encoding and the audio. In between most of these changes, I have completely reloaded Fedora Core 4 and all of the updates to ensure that nothing was messed up from a previous installation. I WAS able to get Myth working last Saturday perfectly with this same card using ATrpms (before 0.4.1 was released)...but MythWeb wasn't working and nothing I was doing was helping it, so that was the first time I reloaded Fedora. And after that, MythWeb has always worked perfectly, but now I don't have any TV input. Even when I try to get ATrpms of 0.4.0 and do the install as before, that doesn't seem to make this error go away. The entire dmesg output is below.
