I have followed Jarod Wilson's FC4 howto
(wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php) for Mythtv and have gotten the 350 to
display output, but it is grainy/fuzzy when watching live TV via
Mythtv, Mplayer or recordings. I redirected output to a nvidia
GeForce S-Video card and the results improved dramatically, although a
couple of channels are fuzzy, but overall a much better video quality.
I have tried changing some dnr settings, video res, etc, but the
output on the 350 was still about the same. I thought it was the
cable feed, but because of the noticeable difference in quality using
the nvidia card, I doubt that was the issue, but I did try a direct
feed into the 350 card with the same results. I have tried reseating
the card, but not moving the card to a different slot. The output of
the dmesg indicates that the firmware I am using is buggy, but I have
also tried different version of the firmware. From what I have read
others have excellent quality with the 350 out, I was hoping to use
the 350 to watch live TV with similar quality to watch regular cable
tv.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks.
