Can you try a modprobe ivtv now? Is there an eeprom in
your lsmod after this step?

Also could you post the contents of
/etc/modules.d/ivtv? 

When you get ivtv to work you should echo "ivtv" >>
/etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 which will cause
ivtv to load at boot time.
