No. Playback through Xine produces sound. I don't use mplayer. MythMusic also plays sound fine. It's only live TV and watching recorded TV that don't produce sound. Or is it only when playing it back through the TV-out of the > PVR350 that you hear no sound? (e.g. cat x.mpg >/dev/video16) 'cat x.mpg >/dev/video16' produced nothing.
