Same story here. Well, not blank but static. Cannot tune to any
channel. It seems like as if the wrong input device is selected
but I tried all others. Besides, there is only one tuner (#4).
No error messages in the logs or from the userspace apps.
Everything worked before with 2.6.14.3 and ivtv-0.4.0.
However, the problem persists even if reverting back to a prior
working version. Have tried kernels 2.6.14.3, 2.6.14.5 and 2.6.15
with ivtv-version 0.4.0, 0.4.1 and 0.4-SVN but no luck with any
combination. Of course, took care about the new firmware names
and the used modules. A scripts runs depmod and runs modprobe -v
(to verify the module location) with the following order:
saa7127 saa7115 tda9887 wm8775 msp3400 tveeprom tuner cx25840
Btw, my PVR-350 isn't broken (which is suspected at first) as it
works fine under XP and the latest Hauppauge drivers/apps.

The coax cable is _not_ the problem (despite the output above)
because the same source works under XP/PVR-350 and under bttv
(I also have a Pinnacle PCTV installed).

Really, if you need anything else, please tell me!
Like now, ivtv is definitely broken under Linux as I even cannot
fall back to an earlier version to make it work again...
Regards, Walter
PS: Uonfortunely,
modprobe ivtv tuner=5
as suggested elsewhere in this thread, did not work for me. :-(
