Maybe this is a driver bug?
I have the same problem as Charlie. PVR-500, Samsung Tuner, ivtv 0.4.2 I get a fuzzy, no-color, version of the program from chan 18 on Channels 7 and 18-22. I also noticed the following that Charlie did not mention: ch45 has static. ch55 has no color and has static. I did a side by side comparison of a normal tv against ivtv for every channel. All of the other channels are working well. I have not tested sound yet. Cheers to Hans for getting the Samsung chip (mostly) working. Boos to Samsung for making the job harder then it needs to be.
