Executing 'mplayer -vo xv dvd://' yields:

vo: X11 running at 720x480 with depth 24 and 32 bpp (":0.0" => local display)It
seems
there is no Xvideo support for your video card available.

I'm running CentOS 4.2 (RHEL4) X86_64 on an Intel P4 521. The motherboard I
picked
somehow refuses to boot i386 which would have been my first choice.

I am running kernel 2.6.14.6 in uniprocessor mode and thus compiling ivtv from
source.

I just installed a PVR-500 in addition to the PVR-350. I am running the ivtv
0.4.3
development snapshot downloaded last night. I thought the development snapshot
was a
fix for getting the PVR-500 to work. But now I think the problem was a
workaround for
a non-MPEG tuner I previously had installed. Probably removing that workaround
would
allow 0.4.2 to work but now that it's working with 0.4.3... well...

I am using the distro's packages for xorg: xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.EL.13.20. Looking
through
/var/log/Xorg.0.log I don't see any 'Xserver' version numbers, just the 6.8.2
version
number.

Not sure how to do this. I thought the 'Option "fbdev" "/dev/fb0"' in xorg.conf
is
required to use the 350 for video out?

Everything is either compiled from source or x86_64 packages from atrpms.

The modprobe.conf and ivtv boot messages are below.

Thanks for your help.
