I'm using MythTV latest atrpms stable release followed Jarods guide,
and also ivtv 0.4.2 (see below). This problem only arises every so
often. The box and recordings run good enough except for this
happening every so often. See below a sample of a good picture and a
bad recording. The problem is when the bad recording hits it does it
for the entire recording and its so random that I don't know how to
track it down.

Even though I get 20 good recordings and this 1 bad recording makes it
all bad, sorry to say that. I was on mythtvtalk and they said this
might be a ivtv or hardware problem. This card worked fine running
gbpvr but now on MythTV it gives me this random bad shot. Does anyone
know what can be causing this or what the problem maybe? I'm sorry I'm
new here so I don't know what you may need please ask and I'll be
happy to get that information for you.

The bad recording makes the top 3/4 all distorted. Here's the link to
the original post on MythTv talk in case I miss any information I
should've posted here.

Here's some of my system specs and what I'm running mythtv is the
latest mythtv-suite stable @ atrpms as described by Jarod.

Biostar iDeq 210v
Athlon XP 2400+
PVR 150
nVidia 5500 AGP tvout
512Ram
Fedora 4 2.6.14 kernel
ivtv (from rpm -q ivtv-0.4.2-101.rhfc4.at)

modprobe.conf

alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv
alias tuner tuner-ivtv
alias tda9887 tda9887-ivtv
alias msp3400 msp3400-ivtv

Any help or suggestion I would be happy to hear from you. Like I said
it works flawless except for a recording every so often.
