Yes, I'm running MythTV and the playback and everything works fine. Have you used ivtv-tune? I also read in the changelog for ivtv that "Tuner0" has been replaced by "Tuner" in 0.4.2 so I had to reconfigure the card-settings in MythTV-backend to get it to work.
