Ok, that's not what I wanted to say (which was nothing!). Yahoo is acting up on me...

Wow, how often do they come out with revisions, my PVR 150 is ~9 months old! > ivtv: version 0.4.3 (tagged release) loading > ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.15-1.1831_FC4 686 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-4.0 I'm using the same ivtv and kernel versions ivtv: version 0.4.3 (tagged release) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.15-1.1831_FC4 SMP gcc-4.0 > tveeprom 1-0050: Hauppauge model 26132, rev C599, serial# 8911872 > tveeprom 1-0050: tuner model is TCL 2002N 5H (idx 99, type 50) But I have a different model, so I'm not sure how much this will help (though the same tuner). tveeprom: Hauppauge: model = 26032, rev = C199, serial# = 7701807 tveeprom: tuner = TCL 2002N 5H (idx = 99, type = 50) > ivtv0: loaded v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware (262144 bytes) > ivtv0: Encoder revision: 0x02040024 > ivtv0 warning: Encoder Firmware can be buggy, use version 0x02040011 or > 0x02050032. but I am using the same "buggy" firmware. I think this weekend I'll try out some newer ones. My PVR150 has worked well since 0.4.1 (which was the current version when I started this project), and I've never had to compile anything (thanks everyone! I love yum!) > Well, since both of your cards have poor quality, I'd bet on signal > strength issues. The PVR-150s appear to be very sensitive to it. While I have heard this, I can't say that I've experienced it. From my wall, I split the cable signal 3 ways using an acoustic research splitter. One (1!) of those legs snakes over to my mythbox where it gets 2-way split (acoustic reseach splitter again). One of those legs plugs into my PVR150 and the other plugs into my PVR500. (and, yeah, I'm looking into a signal booster, motoroloa seems to have a nice one) Now my PVR500 has some "issues" but that's on another thread.
