PVR-250 IVTV version 0.4.3 2.6.15.4 kernel (using kernel's tveeprom.ko) Nothing in the syslog
I recently put together a MythTV box with a PVR-250. I am experiencing what can best be described as intermittent flickering. The video is coming from a Dish 311 satellite receiver via S-Video into the PVR-250. Every so often, I will get a blip that looks something like this (image from a digital camera, so it looks pretty bad; only pay attention to the artifact in the bottom quarter of the screen): http://halcrow.us/blip.jpg It lasts for just one frame. Sometimes it's the whole frame; sometimes it's just a fraction of the frame (as in the image). Sometimes it happens once every 5 minutes for the whole show. Sometimes it happens once every 10 seconds for the whole show. Every so often, it doesn't happen at all. It seems to be picky about the channel, but I can't really pin down any helpful patterns.
