By the way,

Why is there only MPEG decoder firmware available for wintv-pvr 250-350 and
not for pvr150?
Are they the same for both cards or am I just blind?

Yes,
Actualy I did this morning :-)
No changes. The warning still exists.
Firmware I used is:
ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-pvr_150-500/inf/pvr_2.0.24.23035.zip ->
Warning
ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-pvr_150-500/inf/pvr_2.0.43.24054_whql.zi
p -> Warning

MPEG decoder firmware:
ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-pvr_250-350/inf/pvr_1.18.21.22254_inf.zi
p

Can somebody point out what exactly is meant by:
ivtv0 warning: i2c client addr: 0x44 not found for command 0xc008561c!
What is it trying to do on addr 0x44? What is command 0xc008561c?

Thanks.

Did you try completely powering down waiting 30 seconds then powering up?
