My PVR-350 stopped grabbing video until I removed it and a bunch of its
attendant modules and reinserted them (just removing and reinserting ivtv
didn't help).

I don't know what caused it or when exactly it happened, but one coincidence,
this is the first time I tried inserting the ivtv-fb device. I don't know if
it's related or not.

It's also the first time I've tried loading the lirc devices but that seems
less likely to be relevant.
