To select video input, use 'ivtvctl -p 0' for s-video or 'ivtvctl -p 2' for composite (rca jack). To select the analog audio input, use 'ivtvctl -q 2'. You can combine these as 'ivtvctl -p 0 -q 2' for s-video and analog audio. These settings work fine for me.
