With the firmware packages, you may run into an issue that the firmware is in the wrong location to be picked up by hotplug (with cooker we've moved to udev). I can fix this for you. If the other two cooker packages dkms-ivtv-0.4 and ivtv-0.4 don't install due to dependency issues, I'll backport them to 2006.
