I have a yum config file that will get everything ivtv-related from
atrpms and nothing more (ie. it wont replace any core packages):

[atrpms-ivtv]
name=Fedora Core 5 - i386 - ATrpms (ivtv only)
baseurl=http://dl.atrpms.net/fc5-i386/atrpms/stable
failovermethod=priority
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://ATrpms.net/RPM-GPG-KEY.atrpms
includepkgs=*ivtv*

Put this in atrpms-ivtv.repo in your yum.conf, and (i am guessing that
you are using stock kernel), then its just "yum install" with the ivtv
kmodule you need as argument.
