Hi Julian, Congratulations, you are the first PAL-N user I've ever heard from! :-)
Now, it isn't supported in ivtv-0.4.x, so you either have to upgrade to the 2.6.16 kernel and use ivtv-0.6.x, or use the very latest version from subversion (see http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Svn_checkout). In the latter case all video4linux driver will be updated to the latest v4l version. If possible, I recommend going with 2.6.16 & ivtv-0.6. After installing it all you should remove the saa7127 and msp3400 module options (no longer needed) and add the following ivtv module option: pal=n That should force the card to PAL-N.
