An update on my pvr500 weak tuner problem in case anyone may have the same problem I am.
I contacted hauppauge directly and described the problem. Their tech support emailed me some pre release drivers to try, so I installed windows and installed those drivers and tested with Snapstream's trial download of Beyond TV. I had the same problem in windows as I did in Linux with ivtv. The hauppauge tech told me that I probably have a bad card and that I should RMA it. So if any of you are having the same problem, make sure you test it in windows with the official hauppauge drivers and see if it's your card that is the problem. Maybe there's a bad batch or something going around. I think I'll just get two 150s instead of taking a chance with another 500. It sounds like too many people are having problems that I don't care to deal with. -TJ On 4/13/06, TJ Hunter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi.
