I've decided to give up n getting the color bar pattern to show up on my
s-vid out because it seems that although I can't get *that* to work, I am
indeed getting s-video out. I don't know why, but I can live with it.
The one thing that has me stumped is why EVERYONE seems to be able to do
this but me:
# cat /var/log/messages |grep "iTVC15 TV out"
Whenever I do this, I get nothing, and I suspect this has/had something to
do with my problem.
