WOOHOO!!! That did it for me (Samsung TCPN 2121P30A based PVR-500). I've had a "1st generation" PVR-500 working flawlessly (great picture) for a long time, so I got a new one... new tuner, big issues, not very stable. (for me, mythtv could change channels when recording, but not for livetv) Your suggestion to go back to 0.4.4 solved my problems. Thanks (now if I can figure out why this 500 is so grainy compared to my old one......)
