The relevant firmware is the v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw file. If you run this:
strings v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw |grep Ver
you should get this:
Version 2.05.032
But that's almost certainly the case. If not, then follow the wiki
instructions.
However, the first step is to test it under Windows.
