Hello all. I have a PVR-350 installed on an x86 machine with Deiban Etch (kernel
2.6.15). I am trying to run X11 on my PVR-350. I am currently having some
problems.

Here is what I have done so far.

- My PVR-350 is successfully detected with lspci

- I can cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg and can play back the mpg file on a computer
just fine.

So at this point I can assume that the card is setup and working properly. But
I cannot
get X.org to run using its video as the output. Here is what I have done.

- According to the howto, I downloaded the binary driver and put it in
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/ivtvdev_drv.so

- I then setup my /etc/X11/xorg.conf with the following Device section

********************** section of xorg.conf ***********************
Section "Device"
Identifier "Hauppauge PVR 350 iTVC15 Framebuffer"
        Driver "ivtvdev"
        Option "ivtv" "/dev/fb0"
    Option "VideoOverlay" "on"
    Option "XVideo" "1"
    BusID "PCI:0:10:0"
EndSection
********************** end section **************************

If you want more info on this file please ask.

I have tries PCI:0:7:0
PCI:0:8:0
PCI:0:9:0
PCI:0:11:0
PCI:0:12:0
PCI:0:13:0

but when I startx, all I get is the following in the output.
