I see the same problem on my box. I'm running an Athlon based system
with a PVR250 and a M179. The M179 card is disabled because some
ivtv bug (I'm guessing) causes mythbackend to eventually run at 100% cpu
time when it is being used. My box was happily running FC1+0.17 and I
get the 'stutter' problem since I've upgraded it to FC4+0.19 using
ATrpms.

Interestingly not all recordings have the stutter problem (most do)
and for those which do, sometimes the later part can be "clean".

I'm also getting messages like thise although not on every recording
so I don't think they relate to the stutter problem. At least, I don't
think they do.
