After searching google all night any reading thought tons of man pages I have given up. I have a linux box with ivtv & a pvr-350. I am trying to record audio (fm radio stations) via a command like mencoder or ffmpeg, etc. The closest I have come is this:
ivtv-radio -f 97.9 -c 'mplayer -rawaudio on:bitrate=16 -ao pcm:file=test.wav -vc dummy -vo null %s'
...this actually produces a working file, but i need to manually kill mplayer. I'm hoping theres a more elegant solution.
