The problems I have had with this card have been driving me up the wall. Your patch did, in fact, work wonders. Interestingly enough, I got the datasheet for the /incorrectly/ reported tuner from Hauppauge about the time you got the correct one and couldn't find any problem in the driver. Its worth pointing out though, that you turn on the LNA in the /incorrect/ tuner with the 0xCE byte in the driver. To keep it off you use 0x8E. So, not sure which is correct in the final version with the correct tuner. Finally, I know why windows had no problem...
