I recently upgraded to Knoppmyth R5C7 which includes IVTV 0.4.4. The
color saturation issue still existed, so I tried 0.4.5, and it failed
in a manner similar to the above. I tried the 0.4.tar... file, and
now things are quite stable (only tested for one day, about 12
recordings split acrosss a PVR350 and a recent PVR150 (idx=112).

The only odd thing I'm seeing is that the sound level on both cards is
very low. If I max out the I've maxed out the Master volume in
alsactl and use ivtvctl -yvolume=65535, then the volume is roughly
consistent with what the defaults were with the old Knoppmyth
installation I had, which used all defaults (sorry I don't have
details, the old config is in the bit bucket).
