The previous issue has vanished. The drivers compile and modprobe cleanly...well..almost cleanly.
Now, I get my ivtv modprobed and whatnot, and go on to try cat /dev/video0 and grab an mpg file to make sure all is well. I run:
cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg
This spits out zero byte files. Files of nothingness, mplayer no like. Mythtv doesn't seem to want to cooperate with the card either.
ivtvctl says i'm using the appropriate tuner... I'm attaching my dmesg.
