0.8.0 works fine with 2.6.16-1.2115_1.rhfc4.cubbi_swsusp2

I cannot get 0.7.0 (svn rev 3384) to load with
2.6.17-1.2139_0.99.rhfc4.cubbi_swsusp2_8k, it compiles and installs
fine but then I get these errors:

Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: disagrees about version of
symbol video_unregister_device
Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: Unknown symbol
video_unregister_device
Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: disagrees about version of
symbol video_device_alloc
Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: Unknown symbol

Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: disagrees about version of

Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: Unknown symbol
video_register_device
Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: disagrees about version of
symbol video_device_release
Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: Unknown symbol
video_device_release
Jul 3 14:52:09 toecutter kernel: ivtv: disagrees about version of

could this have something to do with the firmware? I have ivtv-
firmware-1.8a-10.at installed.

on another note, my remote (hauppauge black and grey, old (250))
starts working again with 2.6.17-1.2139_0.99.rhfc4.cubbi_swsusp2_8k

so now if I could only get both of these things put together...thanks
for your help, sorry if I'm being a doorknob in some way, etc.
