Make that 3 people. B^) kernel-2.6.17-1.2145_FC5.i686 ivtv-0.7.0-117.fc5.at.i386 ivtv-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2145_FC5-0.7.0-117.fc5.at.i686 mythtv-0.19-129.rhfc5.at.i386 (and friends) When I was playing with the 2139 kernel, I had it working since I had booted it before a working ivtv-kmdl was available. When it became available, I installed it and things worked fine ... until I had to reboot. 2139 hung during boot up (well before dmesg became available, ie, no logs to look at!). I played around, but something told me it was the new ivtv-kmdl. I had to go back to the 2.6.16-1.2133_FC5 kernel (with the ivtv-0.7.0 stuff and an ivtv-kmdl-2.6.16-1.2133_FC5!) to be able to boot up. Myth worked fine in this configuration. I have not yet rebooted my 2145 kernel with the ivtv stuff already installed. > What version of mythtv are you using? -- Kevin J.
