[ivtv-users] pvr-500MCE w/samsung tuners: 2nd tuner static-y

Hi all,   I’ve got my mythtvbox up and running on fedora core 5 and version 0.19 of myth with the help of Jarod’s howto butI still have a few issues to iron out.   Presently, I can tune both tuners on the PVR-500MCE, the devices are recognized at /dev/video0 and /dev/video1.   cat /dev/video0 > /tmp/test1.mpg produces good output on all channels tested cat /dev/video1 > /tmp/test2.mpg produces static-y video and audio on all channels tested.   I have the mythtvbox dual booting at the moment so I tested the card under windows mce.  Both tuners work fine in windows.  I verified this by recording two shows simultaneously using media center and both produced good output.   I saw a discussion about a Samsung tuner patch. > > The patch is only for ivtv-0.4.5 since with kernel 2.6.16 the tuner> > module from the kernel is used.
