Hi,
I have had som occasional sound problems on some of the channels
in mythtv with kernel 2.6.12 and ivtv 0.4.5. Trying to fix this
I upgraded to kernel 2.6.16 (gentoo-r9) and ivtv 0.6.3.
Now all my audio is gone on all channels and I can't figure out
why! I've read the archives, FAQ's and HOWTO's but still does'nt
have a clue why my audio disappeared... :(
I've downloaded the latest firmware from the ivtv-site and
everything looks ok... but no sound! Playback of old recordings
with sound works. When doing a "cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg" and
playing the file in mplayer I get perfect (and silent) video...
I've tried several hints provided in the archives, such as
"option ivtv newi2c=0" etc without success...
"option msp3400 debug=1" does'nt provide any more clues...
I would be really greatful to anyone pointing me in the right
direction! :)
