I have a pvr-500. Ever since upgrading to 2.6.17 and 0.7.0 I've been having problems with pops/clicks in the audio. It seems to gradually get worse the longer the driver has been loaded. So it won't happen at all if I do a recording right after I load it...but the next day I'll end up with a recording with a click occasionally, and then the next day it'll be absolutely unbearable and so forth.
note that I usually raise my volume slightly using ivtvctl -yvolume=64000 also I only compiled bttv,wm8775, and cx2584x in as modules in my kernel instead of just selecting them all, as these are the only ones my card seems to require. Not sure if either of these factors may effect this.
