[17179618.440000] cx88[0]/2-bb: Firmware and/or mailbox pointer not initialized or corrupted
[17179618.688000] cx88[0]/2-bb: ERROR: Hotplug firmware request failed (blackbir d-fw-enc.bin).
[17179618.688000] cx88[0]/2-bb: Please fix your hotplug setup, the board will no t work without firmware loaded!

2) the write on the chip:

"WINTV PAL -B/G, 28554 REV B147"
"Connexant, Broadcast decoder CX23880-19, E432096.1"
"MPEG II A7V ENCODER, CX23416-12 E438119.1"

3) and check this site: http://www.bttv-gallery.de/,
I think it's a PVR250 mce...

Bad message is "Hotplug firmware request failed (blackbir d-fw-enc.bin)" but ls  /lib/firmware get:
2.6.15-23-386  2.6.15-25-386  HcwMakoA.ROM     ivtv-fw-enc.bin     v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw    v4l-cx25840.fw
2.6.15-23-686  2.6.15-26-386  ivtv-fw-dec.bin  v4l-cx2341x-dec.fw  v4l-cx2341x-init.mpg

It isn't everything ok??

Thanks, Gaznevada
