Hi,
I searched the lists and google for about month off and on trying to
fix this
When I upgrade to ivtv 0.7.0 and kernel 2.6.17 the record audio from the
1/8" jack on my pvr-250 is mono.
it seems to duplicate the right channel to both recorded tracks.
I hooked up rabbit ears to check, the RF input is stereo
If I downgrade to kernel 2.6.16 and compile ivtv-0.6.3 then the audio is
stereo again(which is where I run mostly)
I have tried 3 different 2.6.17 kernels (2145, 2157, 2174) and both the
ivtv-0.7.0 tarball, and svn 0.7.1 trunk with the same results
I am running:
Athlon 64 3200+, 1GB ram, Nforce 3 board , Geforce FX 5200 AGP
PVR-250 retail, but not using the remote.
Fedora Core 5 x86_64

at the end are the two dmesg listings from ivtv, first 0.7.0 followed by
0.6.3
If anyone has any troubleshooting steps, I'll be sure to try them
