I've got a problem with Hauppauge PVR-350 + Debian 2.6.16 + ivtv0.63:
I implemented the drivers and the firmware like it's written in the HOWTOs.
The driver itself seems to be working, but it don't find the firmware
I tried to copy the firmware to all locations where it could be
(/etc/firmware/, /etc/hotplug/firmware/, /lib/firmware/, /lib/modules/,
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/)
but it's still not found.

What kind of Debian system are you running? Have you purged hotplug
(dpkg --purge hotplug)?
I have a sarge system, using a 2.6.16 kernel from backports, and my
firmware is in /lib/firmware. But, if you updated from 2.6.8 to 2.6.16,
you need to get rid of hotplug, because 2.6.16 uses udev, and they don't
play together well.
