This is not a ivtv issue, I think, but in case anyone here can send me suggestions.
http://www.ivtvdriver.org/pipermail/ivtv-users/2006-September/004125.html - is the thread that helped fix my video issues, I can now playback TV with audio, tune to TV channels, etc. ivtv-radio -s or ivtv-radio -a does not return any output - after a long time, presumably because it found no channels with strong enough signal. I had a bttv card previously (WinFast? LeadTek?) that worked fine. I do have the FM antenna plugged in to the card, and I live near the city, near many radio stations. But, every frequency I tune to, does show the same sound coming from the card, sounds like far-away AM station, so I suspect the antenna is not working. signal strength: 8192 is what all frequencies show up on ivtv-radio - not sure what that means - presumably that is low/no signal? Previous thread that has ivtv init output, shows radio recognized, so not a ivtv driver issue: http://www.ivtvdriver.org/pipermail/ivtv-users/2006-September/004125.html [I've now fixed the audio firmware problem, as Hans pointed out in that thread, so TV is working fine - both video and audio, and all cable channels are viewable] _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users
