I think LVM would be the same as RAID because 2 Hard Disks are used  
at the same time and produce a lot of traffic on the PCI Bus. Because  
of this the DMA engine of the PVR-Card has to wait too long and  
produces these errors.

Since I use an normal IDE Disk I haven't seen this errors any more.

I also don't see the DMAXFER error every time. But most of the times.
