Type in "cd /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ivtv/". This directory should have several files ending in .ko . These are the modules for IVTV. Just delete them (Or move them somewhere else if you want to keep a backup). When you reboot the computer the message about IVTV should no longer be in dmesg.
