I have been having trouble getting the tuner on my WinTV PVR 250 to work properly. As it stands, I can only get the card to output snow or garbled video when I try to capture from the tuner (the s-video input works fine, however). The signal I am trying to receive is from standard cable TV (here in NTSC land) and as such, I have been trying to tune to various channels using the us-cable and us-cable-hrc frequency tables. I also suspect that signal is not a problem as I can plug the cable directly into my TV and receive the channels just fine. Any help would be much appreciated.
