No, I coudn't because when i 'apt-get source xserver-xfree86', the 
directory created was "xorg-7.1.0" and i supposed i wasn't in the same 
case as you. No risk then .so was created, non ?

I verified all files named ivtvdev_drv.?o and i kept only the file 
created by the .deb.
